New Year’s EveThe Port of Hamburg has always been one of the most beautiful places to celebrate the turn of the year. At midnight, thousands of rockets rise over the Elbe and the skyline.
Blue PortFor a few days, Blue Port bathes prominent buildings, cranes and bridges in the Port of Hamburg in deep blue: a light installation that transforms the harbour into another world at night. With Nina, you sail right through it.
Every two yearsEvery two years, the Port of Hamburg becomes a stage for the world’s great cruise ships for a weekend. The highlight is the departure parade in the evening, when the festively lit ships sail down the Elbe, and with Nina you are right there.
HafengeburtstagThe Hafengeburtstag (Harbour Birthday) commemorates the port rights Hamburg received from Emperor Barbarossa in 1189 and, with millions of visitors, is considered the largest harbour festival in the world. The highlight on Saturday evening: a spectacular fireworks display that you experience with Nina right from the water.

During Blue Port, landmarks and buildings in the Port of Hamburg are bathed in blue light. Our light cruise starts at nightfall, around 8:30 pm, and shows you the harbour at its most atmospheric.
The Hafengeburtstag takes place every year from 6 to 9 May. Our fireworks trip runs on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 pm (minimum two hours).
The Cruise Days are a cruise festival in the Port of Hamburg held every two years. The next dates are 17 to 19 September 2027.
