Port of Hamburg

Our waterways

The Port of Hamburg is our home water, from the historic Speicherstadt to the big cruise terminals. Every trip shows a different side of this unique city.

Where we sail

Nina’s waters

Four impressive areas in the heart of the Port of Hamburg, each with its own atmosphere and history.

Tide-dependent

Speicherstadt

The UNESCO World Heritage site of red brick: a labyrinth of canals, bridges and historic warehouses. Trips into the Speicherstadt depend on the tide and are scheduled for favourable water levels.

Entry depends on the water level, and we coordinate it for you
Hamburg container port

Container terminals & shipyards

Right past the huge container ships, cranes and historic shipyards. Here you feel the industrial power of Germany’s largest seaport up close.

HafenCity Hamburg

HafenCity

Hamburg’s modern waterfront district with the Elbphilharmonie as its landmark. Architecture and water in perfect contrast: modern meets maritime heritage.

Cruise terminal Hamburg

Cruise terminals

Past the imposing cruise ships at Hamburg’s terminals. A breathtaking sight when these floating hotels tower out of the water right next to you.

Not on the Alster

Nina is a harbour vessel, and her home is the Elbe and the Port of Hamburg. Trips on the Alster are not possible. Instead, our waters offer impressions the Alster could never provide.
